    OGLESBY — Rogene H. Einhaus, 72, of Oglesby, formerly of Earlville, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, at her residence.

    She was born Jan. 10, 1940, in Paw Paw, the daughter of Earl and Florence (Zinke) Smith. Rogene was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Earlville.

    She is survived by one daughter, Rose Ellen Schultz, of Shabbona; two sons, Paul Einhaus, of Sandwich, and John (Nancy) Einhaus, of Plano; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her companion and special friend, Rick Dowding, of Oglesby; one sister, Laverne (Dwayne) Edwards, of Joliet; one brother, Earl Smith, of Mendota; and several nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Einhaus; one son, James Patrick "Jimmy" Einhaus; two sisters, Darlene Volkert and Gwen Ketchum; and one brother, Robert Smith.

    Memorial visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville, with graveside services immediately following at St. Theresa Catholic Cemetery in Earlville.
