Ramnulf II de Poitiers

Ramnulf II de Poitiers, né vers 850, mort le 5 août 890, comte de Poitiers de 877 ou 878 à 890. Fils de Ramnulf Ier de Poitiers et de Bilchilde (fille de Rorgon Ier du Maine), il épousa Ermengarde. Son fils illégitime Ebles Manzer lui succéda à sa mort.
Ayant pris sous sa protection le jeune Charles, futur Charles le Simple, héritier légitime du trône de France, Ramnulf réussit au début de l'année 889 à faire face à une campagne militaire menée contre lui par le roi Eudes
Il fut également duc d'Aquitaine à partir de 887, et se proclama lui-même roi d'Aquitaine en 888.
