Zij huwde in 1095 met https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koenraad_van_Franken">Koenraad, zoon van https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keizer_Hendrik_IV">keizer Hendrik IV, die Duits en Italiaans koning was. Het huwelijk was door https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paus_Urbanus_II">paus Urbanus II geregeld om de goede relaties met https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogier_I_van_Sicili%C3%AB">Rogier I van Sicilië te ontwikkelen. Het huwelijk bleef kinderloos. Op de https://nl.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Rijksdag_van_Mainz&action=edit&redlink=1">Rijksdag van Mainz in 1098 werd https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koenraad_(1074-1101)">Koenraad evenwel afgezet als koning. Hij stierf in 1101 terwijl Constance bleef leven tot 1138.
