Bij het opzetten van dit bestand ben ik uitgegaan van de familie Keijzer in Kampen. Vanuit deze veehouderfamilie heb ik een groot deel van de veehouders/pachters van het Kampereiland en Kampen/Brunnepe kunnen toevoegen. Daarbij heb ik dankbaar gebruik gemaakt van het boek "Pachters van de Stadserven op het Kampereiland" van de archivaris dhr. J. Grooten. 

Ondertussen is een groot deel van de boerenfamilies van Kampen en omstreken opgenomen in dit overzicht. De herkomst van de families komt van een halve cirkel rondom Kampen. Te beginnen in Vollenhove, Zwartsluis, Genemuiden, Grafhorst, Hasselt, Mastenbroek, IJsselmuiden, Wilsum, Zalk en Veecaten, Zwollerkerspel, Hattem, Heerde, Wezep, Epe, Oldebroek, Kamperveen, Oosterwolde, Elburg, Doornspijk, Nunspeet.

Daarmee zijn heel veel van de boerenfamilies op de een of andere manier verwant met elkaar.
