Notes about Catharina Margaretha Bloem

Catharina Margaretha Bloem is het zesde kind en de jongste dochter van Theodorus Bloem en Hermina Vaske. Ze wordt op 24 augustus 1850 aan de Zijlweg B No. 22 te Overveen geboren. Op 28 juli 1880 trouwt ze met Thomas Antonie Donnee, een winkelier afkomstig uit Alkmaar, wonende boven zijn winkel aan de Kleine Houtstraat 8 en later nr. 62 te Haarlem. Ze krijgen daar vijf kinderen: Josephus Petrus Wilhelmus Donnee (*1884); Thomas Antonius Franciscus Donnee (*1885); Maria Cornelia Johanna Donnee (*1886); Johannes Cornelis Fredericus Donnee (*1889) en Aleida Catharina Hermina Donnee (*1891). Van deze kinderen is bekend dat er twee op jonge leeftijd zijn overleden: Josephus Petrus Wilhelmus Donnee en Aleida Catharina Hermina Donnee, beiden twee maanden oud. De jongste zoon: Johannes Cornelis Fredericus, vertrok in 1911, dus op 21-jarige leeftijd als timmerman naar Noord Amerika. Hij arriveerde op 10 april 1911 met het schip "Rotterdam" in de haven van New York. Daar werd hij op "Ellis Island", het immigratiebureau in New York ingeschreven (kopie passagierslijst van de "Rotterdam" in bezit) en vestigde zich in Mount Kisco een plaatsje in de staat New York.
Catharina Margaretha Bloem en haar man verhuisden in 1896 naar de Kleine Houtstraat 62 zwart te Haarlem. Daarna in 1911 naar het Zuider Buiten Spaarne 83 zwart, dat later werd vernummerd naar 14 zwart. Daar overleed haar man Thomas Antonie Donnee op 15 maart 1913.
Op 26 september 1913 is Catharina Margaretha Bloem vertrokken naar Elst (Gld.) waar zij op 20 november 1913 overleed.
