[There follows the mark of John Titmuss] (Placing out in service Charles Prowman, a boy of about 12 years of age) 1753 HEXTON Collected an 8 penny rate in our Parish John Titmuss for Mrs Rogers farms. 'a32 17s 0d 1754 HEXTON A sixpenny rate John Titmuss for Mrs Rogers 'a32 0s 6d 1756 HEXTON April 17th Payd to Mary Titmus for the ......things 3/8d Jan 18th - April 18th John Tittmus - 13 weeks pay for the boy at Brooks' .....9/6d From Feb 1st - April 18th.
