1911 aged 30, living in a four roomed dwelling at Shamley Green, Wonersh, Hambledon, Surrey with his wife of 3 years, Ella 30, son Ronald aged 1, and boarder Albert Glover 55. One child born.

Ernest John Griffin June 1881- 8 May 1918.
Died WW1 France and Flanders , natural causes possible the great flu pandemic.
He served as a Sergeant in the Household Cavalry 17th Lancers ( Duke of Cambridge's Own).
Married Ella Annie Dryburgh on 23rd Oct 1908 Guildford Reg office Surrey.

1889 he was a baker at 80 High Street Watford and in 1911 a domestic coachman Shamley Green Surrey.
He had one son Ronald Ernest Griffin born 26th June 1909 Hambledon Surrey died Sept 1967 Watford.
Married Edith May Narroway/Picton Sept 1935 Watford. She was born 7th July 1910 died Dec 1993 Watford.
