Second but eldest surviving son and heir to Sir William de Morley and Cecily Bardolf. Grandson of Robert de Morley, 2nd Lord Morley and Hawise Marshall, Thomas Bardolf, 2nd Lord Bardolf and Agnes de Grandison. Husband of Joan Hastings, daughter of Sir Hugh by Margaret Everingham, daughter of Sir Adam and descendant of Geoffrey Plantagenet. They married before 03 April 1374 and were the parents of one son, Sir Robert. Grandfather of Thomas Morley. Secondly, husband of Elizabeth, married before 10 June 1380. Thirdly, husband of Anne le Despenser, daughter of Sir Edward le Despenser and Elizabeth Burghersh, widow of Sir Hugh de Hastings who died in 1386. Thomas served in Brittany with the John de Montfort, Duke of Brittany and Earl of Cambridge, Edmund of Langley, in 1375. He was summoned to Parliament 1379 to 1416, chief commissioner to survey Yarmouth in preparation for an rumored invasion in 1386, received permission to travel to Prussia in 1391, accompanied King Richard II to Ireland in 1399. Thomas died at Calais, France, and was buried at Austin Friars, Norwich.
