Evelyn C. Eyet, 83, formerly of Lockville Road, Harding, died Sunday at Lakeside Nursing Center, Dallas, where she had been a resident for four years. She was born January 20, 1917, in Falls, the daughter of the late Salmon and Pearl Milligan Lewis and was a graduate of Mill City Schools. Mrs. Eyet was a member of Dymond Hollow United Methodist Church, where she served as Sunday school teacher for many years. She was also a member of the Ladies Aide Society and served on various other committees within the church.
Husband, Glenn W., died October 11, 1993; son, Glenn W. Jr., died in 1991; sister, Audrey Blackwell, also preceded her in death. Surviving are sons, Richard, Hilton Head, S.C.; Robert, Dallas; daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Patricia) Coolbaugh, Orange; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 from Howell-Lussi Funeral Home, 509 Wyoming Ave., West Pittston, with Rev. Larry Michael-Rush, pastor of Dymond Hollow United Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 9.
