It has been almost a year since I've posted anything and the group has
changed a great deal so thought I would post my people once more.

was granted a divorce from Nimrod in 1833 in Bledsoe County, TN. Sally
is also reported to be the first person buried in the Moore Cemetery,
Chattanooga, Hamilton Co, TN. Sarah and children lived in Hamilton Co.,
and show on the 1850 census with Sarah as head of Household. Nimrod &
Sally had 16 children:

or he was married to the second wife less than a month before she died.

Cemetery) On Nov 14, 1863 Frederick Jones Moore enlisted in the United
States Army, Company F., Fourth Arkansas Cavalry Volunteers, under
Captain James R. Laffery, and served until the close of the Civil War,
but was never in any regular battles. He was discharged as a 2nd LT on
Jun 30, 1865 in Little Rock with deafness in his right ear.
