Doopboek Nijbroek 1694-1772:
"Dit kind is in de Ywerts onder Epe geboren, dog hier met content van D. Z.J. Zegerius gedoopt. Op den 22 aug. 1774 attest gegeven, om tot Epe als een inboorling in 't doopboek over te brengen.
Vaassen en Ywerts horen ook toen tot de Gemeente Epe. Nijbroek had echter de dichtst bijzijnde kerk maar hoorde tot een andere gemeente. Vandaar dat attest gegeven werd.

De ywerts is het gebied tussen Vaassen en Nijbroek, ook wel Ywhorst genoemd. (Er is daar een oude boerderij 'T Hul, komende van Oene richting Vaassen links van de weg. De eerste zijweg erna (onverhard) heet de Eeuwhorstweg.). Dat gebied ligt tussen de beide Weteringen in. Tegenwoordig heet het daar ook "Geerstraat". (Volgens oudheidkundige vereniging)
Deze weg loopt ook inderdaad van 't Hull naar de Veluwse dijk.
Volgens de historische atlas van Nederland: 1830-1855 ligt de Ywer(d)s echter op de hoek Bekendijk en de oud Vaassenseweg.
De Eeuwhorst is een modderweg waaraan 3 huizen staan, tussen de Leugenbrug en de Geer, het is een zijwegje van de Veluwsedijk.
Deze weg loopt ook inderdaad van ’t Hull naar de Veluwse dijk.
Op de eerste boererij, hoek Eeuwhorstweg Veluwsedijk heeft ongeveer 100 jaar geleden nog een fam. de Weerd gewoond.
Toevallig heeft hier ook de herberg "de Oranjeboom" gelegen waarvan de eigenaar de naam de Weerd aanneemt en waar de stamboom van de fam. De Weerd begint uit Nijbroek.
