Na de familie van mijn vader (Smidtman, Zuidema) en mijn moeder (Beiboer, Veltman) uitgezocht te hebben, ben ik verder gegaan met de familie van mijn vrouw (Gruppen, Kreuze, van Urk. Huizenga) en met de aangetrouwde familie (Ridderbos, Hulzebos, Sagel, Plantinga, Sminia, Spieringa, Roorda, etc.
